A young scholar - and future leader - needs YOUR support
The Real Dads Network (RDN), sponsors of the annual Celebration of Black Fatherhood Week and the founders of the Daddy Daughter Valentine’s Dance, grants an annual scholarship to a deserving, college-bound high school senior. Last year's recipient was a young man who was not only blessed to be our first scholar, but rewarded our faith in him by continuing his life of service and earning a 3.0+ GPA!
As much as he’s expressed his gratitude ("It was a tremendous help,” he recently shared=0 Awith me), we’d like to continue the tradition of supporting education and strengthening future parents long before they become one. In June, as we celebrate black fathers all over the world, would you help us bless a youth who has already proven they have so much to offer their families, community and world?
By simply purchasing one of our DVD's – our award-winning documentary, Real Dads – Black Men on Fatherhood (narrated by the late Ossie Davis) or Rapmatics (a highly educational and entertaining aid for children of all ages) – not only will you have in your possession medium of the highest informational and inspirational value, you will be supporting the mission and work of the Real Dads Network, and our scholarship fund. And now, for this brief time, we're offering both DVD's for the special, "fund-raising” price of $10. Yes, order one (regular retail price: $10/ea.) and get the other absolutely free! Buy one for your child, while watching the other with your child. Or, purchase both as gifts for a deserving child and their family. Either way, your purchase will help RDN and a young scholar achieve our goals otherwise beyond our reach.
In these difficult days, it's the best "economic stimulus package” $10 could ever buy!
As the founder of RDN, I ask you to support our scholarship efforts. We thank you for your past suppo rt and look forward to partnering and working with you in the weeks and months ahead, as we continue to acknowledge, affirm and celebrate fathers – real dads – everywhere.
With your help, we at the Real Dads Network can continue to make a financial contribution to our young men in college and provide fathers with resources that will enable them to be better fathers.
